Core cast Glass. Designed using CAD software, the master is 3D printed. The shape is hollow, I am using Bullseye opaque left-over sheet glass to create the colour. The aim is to explore the way different colour flows under heat.
12-sided with one open surface polygon. The colours are contrasting and the redeem pattern relays on the way different coloured Glass reacts with heat.
My method of making is governed by my vision.
My work reflects the perpetual flux of the world around us, drawing inspiration from the beauty found in the fundamentals of geometry, recurrence, order and disorder.
In my current work, I use CAD software that frees me to create and transform shapes and movements inspired by the natural world. The computer’s virtual space is both fascinating and engaging and feeds into my abiding sin two-dimensional and three-dimensional space.
