Blown Glass 2023 Panorama debuts a newly unique abstract colour palette, which sets it apart from previous works from the series and is now progressing into a new period of oversaturated, metallic landscapes. Bethany’s approach will continually evolve, and the idea is that the concept is ever-changing, just like the very nature of the landscape.

Blown and Sculpted Glass 2024 - Part of Walker’s long-running Still Life series, this sculpture focuses on the form and composition of the objects and experiments with the application of metal leaf on the base.

Artefact Aftermath

ARTEFACT AFTERMATH’ (2016) Sculpted in uranium glass and bonded together, this artwork is a true feat of engineering. Conceived as a conceptual and aesthetic piece, despite its size, it is not a functioning chair to be sat upon. This unashamedly apocalyptic work explores the ‘post-event’, the uninhabited world resulting from Nuclear war and what may be left behind. Though not didactic, this work investigates his fear and distrust of nuclear power and its imagined disastrous consequences, something he views as the epitome of our inexorable modernisation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgNk6NANf_c It asks questions such as: What will be the repercussions of opening Pandora’s box? Glass Blowing Experience for beginners

Master how to safely and confidently heat molten glass in a 1100-degree furnace, which you will then gather and remove from the furnace using historical hand-forged tools. Make sure you’re full of hot air for the next step! Once you have perfected gathering your glass from the furnace, it’s time to learn how to sculpt and blow your own designs
