Serotonin - Catherine Dunstan

An experimental kiln-formed glass artist based in Bristol, Catherine Dunstan creates kaleidoscopic patterns using the colour-blooming technique which she developed during her MA study. This piece features more than 5000 individually cut pieces of sheet glass and utilises the unique capacity of glass to hold its colour separation when manipulated. Dunstan hopes this piece invites a moment of pause and a release of the happy hormone, serotonin.
