Following the success of its inaugural exhibition, Fifteen x Fifteen returns for a second edition, bringing together 60 artists from 12 countries to celebrate the diversity and creativity of contemporary glass.
Every piece in the exhibition measures no more than 15 × 15 × 15 cm. This simple size restriction challenges artists to think differently, often encouraging experimentation with new ideas, techniques and ways of working. The result is a collection that is rich in variety, where each piece offers a unique insight into the artist’s practice.
The exhibition showcases an exciting mix of contemporary glass, from sculptural and conceptual works to beautifully crafted functional pieces. Together, they represent a wide range of glassmaking processes and demonstrate the remarkable versatility of the material, while reflecting the different cultural influences and artistic approaches of the makers behind them.
One of the aims of Fifteen x Fifteen is to introduce audiences to the breadth of contemporary glass being made around the world. By bringing together established names alongside emerging artists, the exhibition creates an opportunity to discover new work, new perspectives and exceptional skills within a single collection.
Whether you’re an experienced collector or discovering contemporary glass for the first time, we hope you enjoy exploring this year’s exhibition and finding the artists and works that resonate with you.
