A keen experimenter, Elliot uses his work to visually represent psychological concepts, often with a humorous edge, utilising precision-focused making skills explored through multi-component sculpture. He also takes inspiration from traditional arts and sculpture, including still life painting, and enjoys exploring glass’s potential to trick and subvert viewers’ visual and tactile experience.
Elliot Walker is an award-winning sculptor and the manager of Blowfish Hot Shop, where he oversees the production of glassworks for renowned designers and artists while also creating his own pieces. He studied glassmaking in Stourbridge’s Historic Glass Quarter, acquiring the essential skills required to work with this challenging medium. Following his studies, he spent eight years at the London Glassblowing studio, working alongside Peter Layton.
Elliot’s work has been exhibited internationally, and he gained recognition as the winner of the second season of Netflix’s glassblowing competition series, “Blown Away.” A passionate experimenter, Elliot uses his art to visually represent psychological concepts, often with a humorous twist, employing precise making techniques in his multi-component sculptures. He draws inspiration from traditional arts and sculpture, including still-life painting, and enjoys exploring glass’s ability to challenge and subvert viewers’ visual and tactile experiences.

Elliot Walker
I am a sculptor working with molten glass as my primary medium. I studied glass making in the Historic Glass Quarter, Stourbridge, where I developed my basic skills that are the essential foundation for creating works in this challenging medium.
