Juliet Forrest regards herself first and foremost as a fine artist who has fallen in love with glass. She produces intricate and rich stained glass artworks using a variety of methods, both traditional and contemporary. Primarily self-taught, she is unhindered by traditional conventions and will use any combination of techniques to realise her vision. Forrest’s inspiration comes from a variety of sources, a love of the natural world is evident, but wider influences of science, science fiction, the general marvel of existence, and the glorious beauty of glass underpin her work.
