My recent work is built on the foundations of Memphis Design and West Coast Ceramic Funk movements. I attempt to subvert historical techniques to create a new language of glass.
Scott Chaseling, born in 1962, is an Australian contemporary artist known for his innovative work with glass. He studied at the South Australian School of Art and later at the Canberra School of Art, where he honed his skills in glassblowing and sculpture. Chaseling has been a significant figure in the international glass art scene, participating in numerous solo and group exhibitions across the globe.
